Saad Nasim (32) is a professional cricketer with an esteemed professional and international career spanning 15 years in Pakistan. Currently playing for his home club Central Punjab, Saad has represented Pakistan on six occasions (most recently in 2015) where he scored a total of 143 runs.
A state captain with over 9,000 runs in First Class (FC), List A & T20 cricket Saad has cemented himself as a cricketing icon in Pakistan. He's a leg-spinner who has skilfully mastered his trade with a deceptive googly and averages 34 with the ball, taking a total of 230 professional wickets.
In 2019 Saad played his first season in the UK for Leek CC in the ECB North Staffs & South Cheshire Premier League. In 15 league games he took 43 wickets and scored 409 runs at an average of 37. In 2021 Nasim signed for West Bridgfordians CC in Nottinghamshire's SNCL Division A - where he took 35 wickets & scored 588 runs in 16 league outings (this included 43 fours & 42 sixes).
He subsequently played two further seasons for West Bridgfordians where in 2022 in the Premier League 2 he scored 872 runs and took 38 wickets & in 2023 in the Premier League 1 he scored 570 runs and took 30 wickets.
At the end of the 2023 UK season Saad returned to Pakistan where he was reinstated as state captain for Lahore Whites. His first game back saw him score his highest ever FC total of 221 to lead his side to victory.
